President Donald Trump extended a state of emergency in the USA, announced in 2021 by Joe Biden because of Moscow's “harmful actions”. This means the extension of applicable sanctions aimed at the Russian Federation.

An official notification in this matter was included in the publication of the “Federal Register” government (federal register). The document refers to executive ordinances issued by the former president Joe Biden in the years 2021 and 2022.

The democrat declared state of emergency pursuant to the Act on international extraordinary economic rights. This action was a reaction to a “extraordinary and extraordinary threat to national security, foreign policy and the United States economy.” It was a response to “harmful foreign activities of the government of the Russian Federation.”

These activities included interfering with democratic election processes, conducting cyber attacks aimed at America and their allies, the use of corruption in order to influence the rule of other countries and attacks on people with different views and media representatives.
