Aryna Sabalenka won the Australian Open in 2023 and 2024, so now she will defend her title for the second time. Before starting the Grand Slam competition, the Belarusian won the tournament in Brisbane and now she has finally appeared in Melbourne, where the most important Australian tournament will be held. She greeted fans in an unusual way on social media.
This is how Aryna Sabalenka greeted the fans before the Australian Open. There is no shortage of comments
Qualifying for the Australian Open is underway in Melbourne, and tennis players seeded in the tournament can appear on the courts for training. Sabalenka took advantage of this right, but apart from the standard session, she also devoted time to having fun. This is how she greeted Australian fans who always express their support for her.
“Back on the court… I mean on the tennis court” – the Belarusian wrote on social media and published a video of… dancing on the court in the company of the training staff. The leader of the world ranking danced to Bruno Mars' song “Come To Brazil (Bruninho Theme Song)”, which was once viral on the Internet.
The video also appeared on the official Australian Open profile, where it was written: “Sabalenka's new dance has just appeared.” There were also comments from fans and, interestingly, many of them left their messages to Sabalenka in Brazilian. Apparently, thanks to the song, the WTA leader gained new fans.
“You're having fun. Life is better absorbed through dancing,” we read in the comments. “Sabalenka's dance at the Australian Open is already a tradition,” writes another fan, recalling that in fact the Belarusian has already published dances before this tournament in the past. “Number one in tennis and dancing,” writes another fan.
Sabalence is in a good mood before the Australian Open, which is hardly surprising, because in recent years she has been doing great at the first Grand Slam of the year. On Friday, January 10, the leader of the world ranking will meet her first opponent in the tournament, because the draw is scheduled for that day.
