Didn't you see the Starlink satellites over Poland yesterday? Today you have a chance again. The “Space Train” will once again be in our sky.
On Saturday morning, another batch of Starlink telecommunications satellites was launched from Florida. The characteristic white, dashed line that these satellites form from our perspective could be seen over Poland in the early evening.
Today it is worth looking up again, because the flight of the same group of Starlinks will be visible again. As Karol Wójcicki, the author of the “With your head in the stars” profile, informs on social media, you should look out for wandering satellites between 5:40 p.m. and 5:43 p.m. They will be visible 10 degrees above the western horizon and will then “rise through the Northern Corona, Hercules and the Dragon, where it will enter the Earth's shadow.”
“A certain novelty may be the division of the satellites into two groups. The first seven satellites will form an 'escape group' that will be a few degrees ahead of the main peloton. This may look interesting” – writes Wójcicki.
