At the beginning of December he left for Israelwhere he underwent treatment in a hospital in Jerusalem. – Thanks to you, donors, we can afford to try treatment – he said just before leaving. On Monday, his latest recording was posted on the popular chef's social media profiles. It provides information on, among other things, how treatment is carried out in Israel. – I have been in the hospital for two months now, I have never been in the hospital so long in my life. But fortunately, it's a bit like home here, so you can relax, says Jakubiak.

“Hungry people, remember every moment when you feel that you are able to fight, be sure to raise your head and do it! The disease will not let you go by itself,” we read in the description of Jakubiak's latest recording.

In the film itself, we see him wearing a down jacket and a winter hat. – Today the sun was so beautiful that I decided to check Instagram and Facebook, which I don't do. And I will tell you that thousands of messages surprised me so positively that it is hard for me to express it, because it is something wonderful. I thought that only my family and closest friends were worried about me, but it turns out that thousands of people are asking how I feel, if everything is OK with me, if everything is fine – says the chef.

As he assures, he “feels better” than before. – There are constant decreases and increases, I am undergoing a new chemotherapy protocol, so it is known that the body reacts differently. But he responds positively. Everything is moving forward, he assures. This does not mean that fighting the disease is easy. – When I talk to you, you see, my stomach already hurts. This suffering is there all the time and cannot be avoided. It will probably last a long time, because this is what this disease looks like – says Jakubiak.

Tomasz Jakubiak about support

The author of culinary programs appeals to those who find themselves in a similar situation to never give up. – Remember that you cannot give up, absolutely. Even if you feel that it's bad, that you can barely open your eye, it doesn't matter. All the time, while you still have the strength to move your leg, move your arm, move your mouth, do it – he appeals. He also knows how important support is in such cases. – If this support reaches me and gives me energy, I know that my support will reach you too. And it will give you energy, he says.

The 40-year-old chef shared his diagnosis publicly at the end of September. AND it was a difficult confession for him. “I didn't want to admit it because the family started suffering, and I was also ashamed. I was simply ashamed to admit that I was sick like a child,” he confessed then. Today he appeals to other sick people. – Don't be ashamed of your illness. It's not a bad thing.

Finally, thank you for your support. – Thank you for being here, for helping me, for supporting me. I love you – he tells his fans, also declaring that “we will cook together again.”
