Tomasz Jakubiak talks about treatment after returning from Israel

A well -known chef and juror of the “MasterChef Teens” program Tomasz Jakubiak In mid -January he returned from the treatment of his rare cancer in Israel. In the conversation on Good Morning TVN told how he feels after returning.

According to Jakubiak, “it's still a short fight.” “I know there are those who fight much longer and much harder,” he said. – I don't know where this energy and this strength come from, but the fact that sitting at night myself, I wonder where I still have the strength to just get up and do it all – he said. As a source of his motivation, he mentioned his wife and son.

He also mentioned the support he gets from Poles. – It is loved how people react. And this is something amazing. I saw the first episode of Masterchef. I watched him last night. And I don't remember how many times I cried, how many times I had to stop this program. I just saw how children support me how many people are behind me. It's just amazing what is happening. How many people who support me. And the children have already distributed me totally – said Jakubiak through tears.

“There is no option to give up,” he noted. “Until I fall completely, I will do everything I can get out of this disease,” he added.

Tomasz Jakubiak revealed in September 2024 that he suffers from rare. – Some time ago I learned that I was suffering from a very rare and difficult to cure cancer. I did not want to admit it because of how the family began to suffer, and I was ashamed too. Just as a shame when a child was to admit that I was sick – he said in the recording. – Amazing what the disease can do in the head. Now I have matured to this, I stand before you and say: yes, beloved, I have a cancer – he added.

In December, the chef went to Israel, where he underwent treatment at the Jerusalem hospital. – Thanks to you, donors, we can afford to try to treat – he said shortly before leaving. In mid -January he posted a film in social media, in which he told, among others, How treatment is. – I am in the hospital for the second month, I have never been in my hospital in my life. But fortunately it's a bit as at home, so you can relax – said Jakubiak. On January 26, he published a recording from a hospital bed, in which he encouraged to support the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
