In this year's plebiscite, onufry – a narrow -leaved oliverl growing in Ursus, awarded with the title of Warsaw Tree of the Year 2024, was among the finalists among the finalists. The voting will last until the end of June.
This year's edition of the Tree of the Year 2025 competition, organized by the Gaja Club, gathered nearly 50 reports of favorite trees from all over Poland. From this group of candidates, the jury selected 16 finalists who will fight for the title of Tree of the Year 2025 throughout June. The winner will represent our country in the European Tree of the Year competition in 2026.

Warsaw is represented by Olive Nent onufry growing at Zagłobi Street 2 at the Niedźwiadek housing estate. The tree is the pride of the RSM Ursus cooperative and residents who have been looking after it for over 50 years.
Voting has just begun and will last until the end of June. The winner will be announced on July 1.
