The changes will probably take place in the middle of next year. – While we originally assumed a significant acceleration in the work on the new media law, the Presidential Palace is spreading doubts and since the president is unlikely to intend to sign the new law, the processing of this law will be slower, so it is probably better. The new, ready-made act will be placed on the new president's desk in August 2025, emphasized Maciej Wróbel.

Its cost would be approximately PLN 9 per month, which would translate into approximately PLN 108 per year. According to the plan, tax offices were to collect the fee and taxes, so it could be included in PIT or CIT.
It should be mentioned that certain groups of people are exempt from RTV license fees. These include seniors who are over 75 years of age or over 60 years of age and are entitled to a pension of a monthly amount not exceeding 50%. average wage, people classified in disability group I and veterans who are war or military disabled.
