No Ukrainian soldier I talk to believes that the lost territories will return to Ukraine. Last month marked the greatest progress in Russia's territorial gains since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, said journalist and volunteer Aldona Hartwińska, who regularly travels to the vicinity of the Ukrainian front, on TVN24. She brought a disarmed Russian drone to the TVN24 studio. Such devices, she said, “are the greatest threat at the moment.”
In the morning TVN24 to the situation in… Ukraine commented journalist and volunteer Aldona Hartwińska, who regularly travels to the vicinity of the war front. – There are no soldiers, the people are gone. At the moment, those who went as so-called voluntary workers have either died or are missing limbs and lying injured in hospitals somewhere, she said.
– A few days ago I came across a movie. A twenty-one-year-old boy who couldn't even hold a rifle recorded a video in which he said that he was sent to the Kursk section straight after training. And this is currently, I think, one of the worse sections of the front. It's simply hell there, the volunteer emphasized.
Hartwińska provided information from friends who had already seen North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region, which would coincide with the information provided by Austin on Thursday.
“No soldier I talk to believes that the territories already lost will return to Ukraine.”
The TVN24 guest reported that she is observing interest in the topic of the presidential elections among Ukrainian soldiers USA.
– I was a bit shocked because it seemed to me that the soldiers, after years of sitting in the trenches, were not interested in politics at all. This is not just one soldier, they are genuinely following events in the United States and think this may be a game changer. What's more, I think that Trump's possible victory may be something that will change their fate, she said.
– No soldier I know or talk to believes that the territories already lost will return to Ukraine, absolutely. Nobody thinks about drinking champagne in Crimea anymore, she said.
The volunteer said that “the last month has seen the greatest progress in Russia's territorial gains since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.”
A drone from the Ukrainian front in the TVN24 studio. “The Greatest Threat”
A volunteer brought a disarmed drone to the TVN24 studio, which was supposed to explode over Ukrainian soldiers but did not explode.
– He's safe, of course, without any cargo. It has a lifting capacity of six to 10 kilograms, a camera and explosives are attached. These are suicide drones and this is what happened to soldiers from the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade. It didn't explode because it was stopped by the camouflage net, she said.
– I believe that for me, as a volunteer who works close to the front line, such drones are the greatest threat at the moment. They are cheap, there are a lot of them and they just hit everything there is. It doesn't matter whether it is military transport or cars evacuating civilians, she said.
