Ukrainian soldiers in another Russian region. Zelanski confirmed

The Ukrainian troops are present in the Russian Belgorodzi region – confirmed on Monday the President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelnski.

In his evening speech, Wołodymyr Zelnski said that the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ukraine Oleksandr Syrski presented a report “On the front line, the presence of troops in the Kursk region and the Belgorodz region”. This is the first official confirmation of surgery in the Russian Belgorodzi region, which borders with Ukraine.

– We continue active actions in the border areas of the enemy and this is absolutely justified. The war must return where it came from. Our main goal remains the same: to protect our land and our communities in the Sumski and Kharkov regions from Russian occupiers – said Zelanski.

The chief commander informed about the activities of Ukrainian units along the Ukrainian border, as well as in the so -called gray zone and directly on the territory Russia.

On March 18, the defense department in Moscow for the first time informed about the attempt to “break the Ukrainian troops” towards two Russian villages on the border of the Belgorodz and Kurski districts.

At that time, the Russian ministry informed about the “attack” of 200 Ukrainian soldiers, equipped with over 20 equipment units. The authorities in Moscow assured that the offensive was represented. The Governor of the Wiaczesław Gładkow region announced the evacuation of the inhabitants of several villages, located just off the border with Ukraine. Local authorities, however, reported something else that “the situation is difficult” and that Ukrainians still remain in the Belgorodz region.
