One of my closest advisors Donald TrumpStephen Miller, will become deputy chief of staff of the White House – JD Vance announced on his profile on the X platform. The vice president-elect congratulated Donald Trump on his “fantastic choice”.
Formally, Miller is supposed to be a subordinate of Trump's campaign manager, Susie Wiles. Donald Trump reported last week that Wiles would now be the White House's top staff manager. The role of deputy is one of the most important functions in administration. During Trump's first presidency, Stephen Miller was one of the key figures at his side. At that time, he served as a senior political advisor and speechwriter. He was also considered one of the authors of immigration policies, including the travel ban on people from Muslim countries and the separation of immigrant families at the border. Miller is known for his controversial right-wing and anti-immigration views. He was one of the speakers at Trump's largest campaign rally this year, at Madison Square Garden in New York. The 39-year-old politician promised in New York that during Trump's second presidency, “America will be for Americans and only for Americans.”
Earlier in the day, Donald Trump announced he would hire the former head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Tom Homan as his “border czar”. In a Monday interview with Fox News, Homan said the new administration's border enforcement policy would be the same as during Trump's first term, but there would be many more deportations.
Except Wiles, Miller and Homan President of the United States announced other positions. He announced the nomination of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for the position of ambassador USA by UN.
