We choose freedom – Kamala Harris says in the recording, and the film includes shots from meetings with supporters of the former California attorney general, as well as image Donald Trump or JD Vance. In the background, a crowd can be heard chanting “Kamala.”
– (We choose – ed.) freedom, not just to survive, but to move forward. Freedom to be safe from gun violence. Freedom to make decisions about our own bodies. We choose a future where no child lives in poverty. Where everyone can afford health care. Where no one is above the law – Harris continues.
When the vice president mentions treating every citizen equally under the law, the frames are filled with newspaper headlines saying “guilty”, “charged”, “convicted” – all of them refer to the process Donald Trumpwhose image reappears in the video, this time on newspaper covers.
– We believe in the promise of America and we are ready to fight for it. Because when we fight, we win – emphasizes Kamala Harris. Finally, the politician running for the Democratic nomination in the presidential elections encourages support for her campaign.

“The Guardian” notes that the spot fills us with optimism.
“Harris Doesn't Talk About Her Prosecutor Career. The people shown are voters at rallies, at home, at work or at the doctor's office. There is a close-up of a woman in a lab coat with the word 'obstetrics' embroidered on it, a reference to Harris's strong stance on abortion rights,” it noted.
All the people in the more than minute-long video are smiling, laughing and holding signs with the word “Kamala” written on them. As added, the use of Beyonce's song, for which Harris reportedly obtained permission, it can be treated as a kind of support for her candidacyeven though the artist has not stated it publicly.
The publication also emphasized that this year's ad promoting the vice president's campaign differs significantly from the one published during the 2020 campaign. The narrator was a man at the time, not Harris herself. The recording also focused on comparisons between Harris and Donald Trump.
– He's the world leader in tantrums. She never loses her cool. She's been chasing sex offenders. He's one of them – the narrator said. The recording resurfaced a few days ago.
