Pope Leon XIV said that the Catholic Church is ready to determine the common date of Easter for all Christians. He spoke about it on Saturday during an audience for representatives of Orthodox churches and other non -Catholic Eastern Churches.

He noted that several solutions were proposed that would allow Christians to celebrate Easter together, “when respecting the rules of Nice.”

The Pope will visit a historic town

At the end of November this year, the Pope's journey to the Turkish town of Iznik is planned, which was called Nice in ancient times and the Middle Ages.
