Eight models, a total of 378 Volvo passenger cars, were covered by the manufacturer's repair campaign – informed the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. As reported, the brake pedal may have been installed outside the manufacturer's specifications.
“Volvo Car Poland Sp. z o. o., based in Warsaw, notified the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection that in Volvo cars, models: S60, V60, S90, V90, V90CC, S90L, XC60 and XC90 from the model year 2020the brake pedal may not have been installed according to the manufacturer's specifications,” we read on the website UOKiK.
Brake problems
“This may lead to brake malfunctions or complete failure of the service brake to function. The electric parking brake will continue to function and can be used to stop the vehicle,” it added.
On the Polish market, the repair campaign covers all of them 378 vehicles.
Car owners will be informed about the ongoing campaign and the need to contact authorized services.
