Warsaw. A fight on the plane to New York. Security took the passenger out

At Kontakt24, we received information about a delayed flight of the LOT Polish Airlines plane (LO26) from Warsaw to New York, which was supposed to take place at 4.50 p.m. The reason for the delay was an aggressive passenger who had to be removed from the plane by airport security.

As a passenger of the unlucky flight told Kontakt24, a moment before entering the runway, the crew announced that due to a passenger who may be in an “emotional crisis”, the flight would be delayed.

– I am a passenger on this flight. We managed to clear the check-in and boarded the plane on time. The plane moved towards the runway. However, just before entering this runway, we heard from the crew that the plane had to be moved back to the airport due to one passenger who had some mental and personality problems. We moved back. Security and people from the airport entered the plane. Then I heard real commotion – he reported.

The passenger added that the man started arguing. – When security came on board, the man went crazy. He was making a huge row. Someone there even mentioned that he probably hit one of the airport employees. The whole incident, from reversing the plane to taking the man out, lasted maybe 30 minutes, he described.

– I don't know if this man was drunk or in an emotional crisis, but he caused an incredible commotion – he concluded.

We contacted Krzysztof Moczulski, spokesman for PLL LOT, on this matter.

– The reason for the delay of this flight was a rowdy passenger. He was taken off the plane and detained. Actions will be taken in his case. I have no information whether he was under the influence of alcohol – he told the editorial office of Kontakt24.

According to the spokesman, the passengers were scheduled to depart at 7:10 p.m.
