Policemen detained a 23-year-old suspected of burglary and theft. – He took a scooter parked in front of the pizzeria and went to steal a car with power tools – said young asp. Jakub Pacyniak from the downtown police. It turned out that this was not the first conflict with the right of a young man. He heard eight charges and spend the next three months in custody.

A policeman from Śródmieście worked on determining the perpetrator of a series of burglaries and theft. In the case, they gathered evidence and determined a given suspect.

On the recording, published by the police, you can see how a man browses the cabinets in the room in the back room. He pulls out a cell phone from one of them, from a different packet of cigarettes, which then hides under the sweatshirt and in store baskets. So “equipped” goes out of the room outside and hides fans into the trunk in a scooter and departs.

“Suspected at night at Polna Street, he took a scooter parked in front of the pizzeria, fooling the restaurant chain. He went to a store away a few streets. He entered the back, put in the basket and under clothing a total of over 400 packs of cigarettes, a cell phone and a bottle of alcohol. He also tried to break into the safe” – described the young ASP. Jakub Pacyniak from the downtown police. He added that the sum of losses were estimated at over PLN 10,000.

However, the suspect did not end there. He left the store and went a few streets away. He abandoned the scooter, then broke into the staircase and went down into the underground garage. “He broke the lock in the door from the warehouse of the clothing store, from which he stole the scissors for cutting metal. With their use a few hours later he broke into subsequent buildings and underground garages” – said Pacyniak.

According to the police, the suspect stole the Opel van, in which there was a chimney -out outfit and a very expensive specialized equipment. “He also packed the car from another car and drove away. The next day he caused a collision with another vehicle and escaped on foot” – added Pacyniak.

The suspect was detained the next day at the hotel at Aleje Jerozolimskie. The room rented there served as a hideout. “At the 23 -year -old criminal found several portions of the mephedrone. Further arrangements showed that the man almost a month earlier stole two electric scooters from the parking lot of a bicycle shopping mall at Aleja Jana Pawła II” – said Pacyniak.

According to officers, the total sum of losses caused by the 23-year-old reaches several hundred thousand zlotys.

The 23-year-old in total heard eight charges for theft, burglary, part of things and drug possession. He acted in recurrent conditions and faces up to 15 years imprisonment. The court granted the application of the Warsaw Śródmieście-Północ District Prosecutor's Office, applying temporary arrest against the suspect for three months. The proceedings in this case are supervised by the Warsaw Śródmieście-Północ District Prosecutor's Office.
