On Saturday, a tram from the new loop in Stegna started. The first warehouse was shown in social media by the President of Warsaw Rafał Trzaskowski.

“If today it is June 28, it means that a tram from the loop in Stegna has just started,” Trzaskowski said in a video posted on the platform X, which shows the passage of the first composition. He added that the journey by tram from the loop to the center takes 20 minutes.

The new loop in Stegna is a branch of the tram route to the town of Wilanów. The second is the tram on Sielce, already running along Gagarina Street.

From Sunday, a new tram line No. 19 has been reaching to Stegny, connecting the loop at Saint Boniface and thus Dolny Mokotów with the Central Station and the sequence of al. John Paul II.

At the intersection with ul. The Sobieski branch connects to the main tram route to Wilanów.

Changes in tram traffic

In turn, Warsaw trams reminded about changes in traffic. “Reminder – changes from Saturday, June 28: Stegny / Słomiński and Starzyński / Młynarska. We are opening the tram route along St. Boniface Street to the Stegny loop; a new line No. 19 Stegna – Koło goes on the track; The contractor continues to work on the road system – for safety, at the place of work, temporary speed limits and reduced tram speed are required ” – we read in social media.

As indicated, the renovation and reconstruction of the track on ul. Słomiński will last from June 28 to the end of September. This means that the tram movement on Słomiński, the Gdańsk and Starzyński Most between the roundabout of “Radosław” and the Żaba roundabout and on Międzypolkowa are suspended. Lines 1, 6 and 28 are suspended. Line 78 on the route Górczewska – Narutowicza Square through the “Radosław” roundabout is launched. Line 27 is extended to the Metro Młociny loop, line 25 will return on the route Starynkiewicza – Żerań Wsch. Line 68 runs on the route Żerań FSO – East Dw. The Z-5 line is launched on the Metro Trocka-Rondo “Radosław” roundabout.

“Renovation of the tracks at Młynarska Street from June 28 to mid -July: the stopped tram traffic on Młynarska and Camp from the Wola depot to the Koło loop; during the two -week closing of the route, trams 20, 23 and 24 will change. On longer routes lines 11 and 19 will follow, the 70 Boernerar line will also appear – a replacement bus line will be launched. The buses will travel between the circle and the intersection of Solidarity and Okopowa – the Warsaw trams said.
