On Thursday, wild boars were walking around the pavement in Bielany in Warsaw. They ran out of a nearby forest.
The pictures show two wild boars that traverse the pavement along Marymoncka Street at the height of the “Las Bielański” bus stop towards Młocin. The animals foraged on the lawn between the stop and the tram tracks, which border directly on the forest.
Dziki in large cities is a fairly common view. Warsaw is special in this respect because the area of green areas in the city is over 40 percent. Close to human headquarters, wild boars feel safe, mainly due to easy access to food. We inform you regularly about the wandering of these animals through the city on tvnwarszawa.pl. We also get many reports on contact24.
If we meet a wild boar on our way, we should calmly go in the opposite direction without making violent movements. You must not run because it can provoke an animal to attack. Walking with the dog in places where a savage can come to a savage, you must absolutely keep your animal on a leash. Such places are easily recognized by the cooked soil.
In the case of a direct event involving wild animals, the capital's town hall asks to contact an employee for hunting city forests at the phone number 600-020-746 or 600-020-747, the office is open around the clock. You can also call city guards to number 986.
