On Brzeska Street, the man after amputation his legs fell onto the pavement. Unfortunately, he hurt a healthy leg in this way. He was helped by the City Guard street medical patrol. The victim was hospitalized.
The street medical patrol intervened on March 25 at Brzeska Street. “The guards noticed a man who holds a fence, who suddenly sank into the pavement,” the city guards described.

He wounded his left leg, his right was amputated
The officers moved with help. It quickly turned out that the situation was very serious-the 50-year-old a week earlier underwent the amputation of his right leg. Following his left leg injury, he couldn't get up anymore.

“Rescuers disinfected and provided a painful wound, and then called an ambulance. The man told officers that he ate the last meal two days ago” – added the city guard.
Before an ambulance arrived, the guards informed him where he could turn to further help. Urgent medical emergency team transported Georgia to the hospital.

Street Medical Patrol (UPM) is a joint project of the Municipal Guard of Warsaw, Caritas Polska and the “We are hope”. It has been operating since 2017. Rescue patrols conduct their activities throughout the year, several times a week. They help people who require medical care who cannot afford to visit health facilities.

UPM takes care of over 100 places where people in the crisis of homelessness stay. There are always guards with paramedics in the patrol. As clarified, there are 100 officers with such powers in the city guard.
