The police detained a 23-year-old resident of Targówek in Warsaw, suspected of possessing a significant amount of mephedrone and marijuana. In the woman's apartment they found, among others: containers with portioned drugs and an electronic scale.
The police reached a resident of Targówek suspected of drug trafficking. – Criminal findings showed that the 23-year-old not only stores a large amount of illegal substances in her apartment, but also divides them into commercial portions, which are then sold on the streets of Praga Północ – explained Commissioner Paulina Onyszko from the Warsaw VI District Police Headquarters.
Drugs, scales and a few phone calls
The police searched the 23-year-old's apartment and confirmed their suspicions.
– In the woman's apartment they found plastic bags and plastic containers with portioned substances, an electronic scale, several dozen thousand zlotys and several mobile phones. For these activities, they engaged a police guide with a dog trained to detect the smell of drugs – described Commissioner Onyszko.
Charges and police supervision
The 23-year-old was detained and taken to the police station at Jagiellońska Street. There, a police technician inspected the substance.
– The police took the detained person to the Warsaw Praga Północ District Prosecutor's Office, where she was interrogated. The prosecutor conducting the investigation charged her with possessing a significant amount of marijuana and mephedrone and placed her under police supervision, Onyszko summed up. For these crimes, the woman could face up to 10 years in prison.
