During the weekend, the Wisłostrada road on the section between the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge and the Gdański Bridge will be given new asphalt. Road workers will also continue work on Wałbrzyska and Głębocka streets. In turn, after the long weekend, workers will appear on Myśliwiecka Street. Public transport drivers and passengers will take detours.
The second stage of replacing the surface of Wałbrzyska Street begins. Previously, road workers worked from Wróbla Street to Rolna Street. Now it's time for the section from Rolna to Puławska.
Milling will start on Friday at 10 p.m. and will last until Monday at 5 a.m. You will be able to go around the closed section through Rolna streets, Aleja Wilanowska and Puławska. The exit from Bacha Street will be towards Puławska or at the cemetery. Drivers will go in two directions along Batuty Street.
During the works, buses of the following lines: 189, 193, N01, N33, N37 and N83 will be detoured. The works will result in some pedestrian crossings being closed.
Milling of the Wisłostrada road
At the same time, road workers will start the second stage of milling the Wisłostrada road towards Żoliborz. The workers will work on the section between the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge and the Gdański Bridge. The left and middle lanes of Wybrzeże Gdańskie Street, from the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge to Wenedów Street, will be occupied. The right lane will remain open. Similarly, turn left from Wisłostrada into Grodzka. The exit from Grodzka and Nowy Zjazd streets to Wisłostrada on the left will be only one lane.
The turn from the renovated Wisłostrada road to Sanguszki Street will be closed. To get here, drivers will go straight and turn around under the viaduct at the Krasińskiego junction. They can also go along Solidarności Avenue and then along Andersa Street to Muranowska.
It will be possible to bypass all the difficulties on the other side of the Vistula: Łazienkowski Bridge and Wał Miedzeszyński, Poniatowski Bridge and Wybrzeże Szczecińskie. Through the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge and Wybrzeże Helskie to Jagiellońska Street and the Grota-Roweckiego Bridge or even further – along Modlińska Street to the Skłodowska-Curie Bridge.
Drivers will also be able to choose to travel through Ludna and Książęca streets to Aleje Jerozolimskie to Marszałkowska street. From here, along Andersa, Mickiewicza and Krasińskiego streets to Wybrzeże Gdyńskie. Drivers will also get to Anders via Solidarności Avenue.
Line buses 185 will run unchanged. The resurfacing will end on Monday, November 11, at 4:00.
Bus lane on Głębocka street to be asphalted
Also during the coming weekend, road workers have planned to asphalt another section of the bus lane on Głębocka Street. The works will start on Friday, November 8, at 9:00 p.m. and will last until Monday, November 11, at the same time.
During this time, there will be no traffic along Głębocka Street – between the intersection with Malborska and the entrance to the shopping center. Customers will get to the stores from the Toruńska Route and will also leave in that direction. The intersection of Głębocka and Malborska streets will also be partially closed. The detour will lead along Trasa Toruńska, Łabiszyńska and Kondratowicza streets or Młodzieńcza, Radzymińska and Trasa Toruńska.
During milling, line buses: 112, 120, 126, 160, 212, 240, 256, 527 and N11 they will follow changed routes. “A replacement line will be launched with the residents of Geodezja Street and shopping center customers in mind Z13” – informed the Municipal Roads Authority.
Renovation of the surface on Myśliwiecka Street
In turn, after the long weekend, road workers will start renovating the surface of Myśliwiecka Street. From Tuesday, November 12, from 10 p.m. to Saturday, November 16, until 4 a.m., there will be no traffic between Rondo Sedlaczka and Szwoleżerów Street. Additionally, a section of Szwoleżerów until the exit from Kawalerii Street will be closed.
The obstruction detour has been marked along the following streets: Łazienkowska, Czerniakowska and Szwoleżerów.
Buses will be diverted to diversion routes 108 and 162.
There will be a parking ban on the renovated section with information that the vehicle may be towed at the owner's expense.
