District subscription It costs PLN 30 a year and allows parking a car in a small area near the place of registration, within a radius of 200 meters from the place of residence. This translates into several dozen parking spaces on average. This type of subscription entitles you to stop in “zones only for residents”, i.e. on sections of roads marked with the B-35 “stop prohibition” with a plate with the content “does not apply to holders of the ID 'B-35'-XYZ”. XYZ means the code code here, which will be entered on the identifier. The B-35 sections located in the area up to 200 meters from the place of registration are assigned to the district subscription.

“Mokotów is not made of rubber”

The Municipal Road Administration emphasizes that SPPN is primarily aimed at improving the parking situation of the inhabitants. “The zone prompts visitors to a shorter stop or even discourages some from entering it, and at the same time increases the rotation of parking cars” – he explains.

The paid parking zone is set in areas characterized by a significant deficit of parking spaces, if it justifies the needs of traffic organization, in order to increase the rotation of parking motor vehicles or implement the local transport policy, in particular to limit the availability of this area for motor vehicles or introducing preferences for communication collective.

Act on public roads, art. 13b.

Councilor of the Mokotów district Marcin Stępień (KO) emphasizes that the SPPN extension will limit the inflow of cars to the district. – We like our guests very much, but you have to remember that Mokotów is not made of rubber. That is why we encourage visitors primarily to travel around the district by means of communication. The area covered by the new SPPN range is currently an attractive and free interchange. As a result, it is often the case that the inhabitants returning after work have nowhere to park. Under their homes stand cars of people who commute here from other parts of the city and change to the subway or tram to get to the offices – indicates the councilor.
