Piotr lives in an apartment with his wife, mother-in-law and five-month-old son. Grandma holds Miłosz, who has just bathed, in her arms. He sits on an exercise ball and rocks the boy.
Suddenly, Peter approaches her. – Give it to me, I'll take it to the living room – he says. After a while, he shouts: “I dropped it! It fell out!” Less than three hours later, the boy dies in the hospital.

During the interrogation, Piotr will later say that “it was an unfortunate accident” that he “tripped on the carpet.”
The doctor who examines Miłosz has doubts because the head injuries do not correspond to the description of the event given by his father. This is not what a baby's head looks like when it hits the floor after falling.
The doctor notifies the police.
“Unknown”
Piotr P. still maintains his innocence. Seven years after his first arrest, the prosecutor's office is still certain that he killed his two children. Two, because Miłosz, who accidentally fell to the floor, was born almost a year after the death of his sister Liliana.
– I tried my best: as Magdalena's husband, Liliana's father, and later Mieszko's, argued in court at the end of the trial, Piotr P.
They met in the fall of 2014, and six months later Magda became pregnant for the first time.
They studied the same field. They had just started, getting ready for their first session. Their friends said about them during the investigation: “they were in love.” During the trial, the accused himself repeatedly assured that he loved his wife very much. He described a romantic engagement and wedding.
But according to the prosecutor's office, Piotr was not happy about either the first or the second pregnancy. “He was frustrated by the fatherhood of an unwanted child. He considered it a cause of mental discomfort and an obstacle to everyday functioning, he treated the child as an unnecessary ballast destabilizing his life and limiting his ability to meet his own life needs” – this is a quote from the indictment.
