“We don't see such animals here.” An unusual guest on the recording

On Friday, the monitoring cameras mounted on the property of the inhabitants of Las Vegas registered an unusual event. Puma was walking around their courtyards. The animal appeared in the houses located near the busy road Boulder Highway.

It was 4 in the morning, when William Champion woke strange sounds. It was, among others, his cameras registered a visit to an unusual guest. The man told about her in an interview with the reporter of the local FOX5 station.

– My phone called and called. And there is only one thing that starts it – these are cameras. I thought: “wow”. It just looks so grateful, the way in which [puma – red.] He gets through the walls and bypasses my safety devices – said Champion. The great cat quickly felt at home. – Here, in this corner, he just cut a nap. It lasted 15 minutes. He didn't move – he reported, describing the recording. He added that after waking up, the animal jumped into the neighbor's yard.

Although the view of Puma in the Las Vegas valley is not unusual, these animals are usually seen in the suburbs, no more than a few steps from the six -lane highway.

“We don't see such wild animals here,” admitted Champion.

The area where the puma was registered is about eight hundred meters from the channel connecting to the Las Vegas Wash stream. The animal had to go through the populated districts and streets, such as Boulder Highway, to get to the man's yard.
