Locally, the thermometers can indicate -12 degrees on the ground – she said. “This is a deadly temperature for all these awakened plants,” she emphasized. As the synoptic explained, the cold waves in April are not an anomaly. – We just have a completely different reference point. In January, February and in March we experienced heat waves – she said.

“This is not the last word from the Arctic yet,” said Arleta Unton -Pyziołek. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the cooling is to soften, the temperature in the eastern part of the country can drop to -5 degrees C. – second burst, cold hit awaits us on Thursday. In the light of today's prognostic materials, the cool front will enter again from the north. We can have a replay of what was on Saturday. Phenomena may not be so intense, but rainfall is expected to snow – said the synoptic. She added that “cold tongue” is developing in the north of Europe, which is to hit Poland, Belarus and Ukraine. – On the night of Thursday to Friday, with dissolution, the temperature will drop to -8/-4 degrees – she added. “This” cold tongue “will surround us for 48 hours,” she emphasized.
