Michał Kołodziejczak spoke in “Yes it” on TVN24 about his political plans after resigning from the position of deputy minister in the department of agriculture. He was asked if he was now going to “build a rural wing” in the Civic Coalition. “I would love to,” admitted the MP.

The Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Michał Kołodziejczak announced that he was leaving the government. He explained that he was counting on “faster processes in some matters”, explaining that his vision of agriculture was different than the minister Siekierski.

On Wednesday, Kołodziejczak was asked in “Yes,” on TVN24, whether after leaving the ministry he intends to “build a village wing” in the Civic Coalition. – I would like to. This green heart is also the symbol that I wear. There was a big green heart on the door in the Ministry of Agriculture. Members of the Civic Coalition wear red, I have green – answered the former deputy minister.

– I would like to take this job on my shoulders and start doing it. And not only to be, as the prime minister said: “Michał, you will be a assistant to Minister Siekierski.” The minister did not quite use this help – he added.

– I am not stopping, I am 37 years old, I am a young, dynamic politician and I would not like someone to assume such a yoke of two departments so as not to go further – assured the former deputy minister.

“I went to the ministry with a vision of building a wide strategy”

Kołodziejczak's decision was commented on by the minister Czesław Siekierski. – The actions of the minister began to harm the unity of the coalition. This is unacceptable, because the coalition is a certain value and I think that this is not the level of Minister Kołodziejczak to make such far -reaching ratings that do not serve the unity of coalition, they do not serve the government. I have repeatedly noticed this minister – said the head of the Ministry of Agriculture on Wednesday.

– With all due respect, I will not refer to it. I left the ministry today because I did not agree with some ways, with a vision of how this ministry works. Until now, I also tried to stimulate all this in a way – answered Kołodziejczak, when asked about the minister's comment.

– I went to the ministry with a vision of building a wide strategy under the supervision of the Main Minister, and not doing current matters, which clearly result from certain procedures – noted Kołodziejczak.

Siekierski admitted during the conference that “cooperation (with Kołodziejczak) had burdens, resulting from the specifics of the Minister.” – He often thought that certain actions were taking place too slowly, he wanted to take shortcuts. Introducing certain solutions requires procedures and I wanted to follow these procedures. I wanted matters in the ministry to be solved, not settled – described Minister Siekierski.

The minister noticed that Michał Kołodziejczak undertook some actions outside the ministry. In Siekierski's opinion, this was due to the fact that Kołodziejczak went to Mrirw as a trade unionist.

Kołodziejczak: I will not criticize Minister Siekierski

– I did everything as well as I could, I offered my help. Today I will not criticize Minister Siekierski, he has his own way of work – noted Kołodziejczak.

– I run a farm with my father and it's sometimes hard for us to get along. Today I also see this generational conflict, it is somewhat on a Polish countryside, but here he was also in the department of agriculture and that does not mean that Siekierski was angry, Kołodziejczak is good. Kołodziejczak evil, Siekierski good. Only we are simply different and I do not want any conflict to be built in the government – argued the former deputy minister.

Kołodziejczak was also asked if the prime minister Donald Tusk He knew about his planned departure from the government. “There were several meetings on average, let's say in a nutshell, with the envoy of the prime minister,” he replied.
