Like every year, on Christmas Eve, Saint Nicholas set off on his journey. He will visit all corners of the globe – he cannot afford for anyone to be left without a gift that day. He has a long road ahead of him.

According to the website, Santa's sleigh – marked “SANTA1/R3DN053” – was over the Pacific Ocean at around 9 a.m. They headed south, towards Australia, New Zealand and the smaller islands of Oceania.

The Saint still has a lot of places to visit. It will most likely arrive over Europe – and Poland – in the evening hours.

Depending on the region of Poland, gifts are left under the Christmas tree by Santa Claus or, for example, Santa Claus. While Polish children will start looking for gifts, their peers from many other countries will either be happy with the gifts they have received or will be waiting for them.

In Hungary, some children receive gifts on Christmas Eve, others – on December 25. In some families, gifts are brought by an Angel, in others by Jesus. The longest wait for Christmas surprises is in Spain. There, children are given gifts only on January 6, i.e. on the feast of the Epiphany (Epiphany).
