Application The dismissal of the former Minister of Agriculture was filed by a representative of the State Treasury. The session is adjourned until January 21, then decisions will probably be made regarding the appointment of a new member of the supervisory board.
Charges against Olejniczak: Let us recall that at the end of November last year, former head of SLD Wojciech Olejniczak and five other employees Alior Bank SA were detained by CBA in connection with irregularities related to the operation of Zakłady Mięsne Henryk Kania SA in Pszczyna. “The prosecutor presented a total of 10 charges against the suspects. They concern actions to the detriment of Alior Bank SA in connection with granting credit support on the basis of false documents. Total value of the damage caused to the bank is currently estimated at PLN 161 million,” the press release stated at the time. As reported, the charges against Olejniczak himself concerned causing damage to the bank.
He resigned from politics: In 2014, Olejniczak he resigned from public office and withdrew from politics. He made this decision after being elected to the European Parliament for another term.
