Over the past decade, the digital assets industry has gone a long way from being a joke to a multi-billion area, attracting more and more investors. These days it’s been growing even faster, with many crypto exchanges emerging all the time. Most of them face various difficulties as they gain popularity.

We asked the head of the WhiteBIT platform from Kharkiv, Ukraine, Volodymyr Nosov, about the modern challenges his company faces.

Early days

“At the start of our path, we just had to deal with routine. We were dealing with basic things like hiring first staff, finding more offices in Kharkiv, Ukraine, building the primary structure of WhiteBIT, setting goals, and many other things that we are still doing,” – Nosov answered with a smile.

We also asked Volodymyr Nosov about the first challenges when WhiteBIT crypto exchange was only a Kharkiv-based company, and he told us the following:

“You know, when you start a business and try to reach its full potential, you first try to succeed on the local level. As we had only our Kharkiv office, we knew we had to conquer this city for starters. I can’t tell how much effort any partnership takes, so we worked hard to build a strategy and implement it step-by-step. Eventually, WhiteBIT collaborated with a telecommunications company Lifecell, a pizza service, and Ukraine’s governmental bodies.”

Quality and security aspects

Volodymyr Nosov also commented that they aim to provide and maintain the necessary quality level for all products of the WhiteBIT ecosystem. Nosov said: “Quality. That’s where you have to work at full capacity. Trying to bring your product to perfection and working on various partnerships is a recipe for success. My team and I strive to provide users with a convenient digital exchange full of necessary assets (not just BTC to USDT trading) and tools for all experience levels.”

WhiteBIT is also known to be one of the most secure crypto platforms. That is the major challenge for many exchanges because not all of them pay enough attention to it. After all, users still claim most crypto exchanges to be scammers. So, we’ve asked Volodymyr Nosov how exactly WhiteBIT maintains a high level of protection.

“There is an anti-money laundering policy, which provisions help WhiteBIT to keep its clients’ data and funds safe. Our customers have limited services if they don’t pass KYC. That gives us extra information on our clients, ensuring that no terrorist or other dangerous person uses our exchange. Besides, we have a security team responsible for various checks and protective measures. That’s crucial because many people don’t believe in virtual assets. We will continue our mission as long as it goes this way”.

New markets

Volodymyr also talked about the international expansion and new WhiteBIT offices in other countries.

“Ukraine was the first frontier. We started opening offices abroad when we realized that our exchange had something to offer in other countries. Now, my role is to communicate or negotiate with governmental bodies and tech companies to look for ways to expand and find an intersection where the blockchain can fruitfully cooperate with other industries. Thus, WhiteBIT will be able to provide more opportunities to our users and grow as a company as well.” – Volodymyr  stated.

In conclusion, Nosov said, “it’s only a matter of time when the rest of the world will turn to blockchain and DeFi. One day, the world will finally use cryptocurrencies just like fiat money. I am sure that WhiteBIT will look at it from the first rows”.

Even the most successful cryptocurrency exchanges face many difficulties. But WhiteBIT, led by Volodymyr Nosov, continuously proves its digital expertise and has a very united team. We’re sure that in the future, we will hear more about Volodymyr Nosov and the WhiteBIT exchange.
