As reported by the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management on Friday, the average area air temperature in 2024 amounted to 10.9 degrees Celsius in Poland and was as much as 2.2 degrees higher than the average annual average of 1991-2020. Last year was included in extremely warm years.
“It was the warmest year in the history of air temperature measurements in Poland” – was passed in a summary published by IMGW. Until now, 2019 was considered the warmest year with an average temperature of 10.2 degrees C.
