On Sunday afternoon in Łękno in the Koszalin poviat, a passenger car collided with a regional train. A 44-year-old car driver died on the spot.

– He is a 44-year-old resident of the Będzino commune. We determine why the car was on the tracks. It is a guarded railroad crossing. There are so -called “semi -pealed” – said Kosiec. – We can suspect two versions: either there was a failure of the devices, or the driver bypassed the barriers – she added.
She emphasized, however, that at least a few trains had been traveling on the route Koszalin – Kołobrzeg – Szczecin and there was no report of the barrier.

The 44-year-old had a driving license stopped
About 30 people traveled by a regional train from Koszalin. Nobody was injured. The carrier has launched substitute bus communication. Traffic traffic on the Koszalin – Kołobrzeg route was suspended.
– activities with the participation of the prosecutor are underway. We will interrogate witnesses of the incident, the driver – Kosiec announced.
The findings of the police show that the 44-driver who died at the crossing had stopped driving licenses.
