In the first task, the participants were immediately thrown into the “deep water”. Everyone had to sit in the cold Baltic Sea and create a “barricade”. The soldiers wanted to see who would break through first. It fell to Joanna Opozda, who was unable to withstand the low temperature. The actress did not take part in the rest of the competition, during which the participants had to lie in the water.. Even before the first episode aired Oppoz gave an interview in which she talked about her approach to the program. According to her, it is women who have a better chance of survival.
– Statistically, from what I've heard, women, contrary to appearances, can survive much more. And it is in such extreme, difficult situations that they cope better. (…) I think women are stronger than men. (…) At least that shows my life experience that this is what it looks like – she explained to the station.
