Two people were taken to hospital after being hit on a pedestrian crossing on Okrzei Street overnight from Friday to Saturday. Police are looking for the driver who abandoned his car and fled on foot.
As Bartłomiej Śniadała from the press team of the Warsaw Police Headquarters told us, the incident occurred after midnight. – The driver of the Land Rover hit two people: a woman and a man on a pedestrian crossing and then drove away from the scene. The injured were taken to hospital. The car was found a moment later on Kameralna Street – the policeman told us on Saturday morning.
The search for the perpetrator continues.
The photo we managed to obtain shows that the driver also hit the traffic lights, damaging them.
