In Kłodzko, police arrested two looters who robbed a petrol station. They are residents of Kłodzko, aged 29 and 41.

The incident took place on Monday (September 16) in Kłodzko. Police officers who maintain order in the city detained two men aged 29 and 41.

– Ignoring the circumstances of the human tragedy, they stole the assortment of equipment from one of the petrol stations in the city centre. When the looters noticed the approaching policemen, they abandoned their luggage with the loot and started to run away, but they were stopped a moment later – said Senior Sergeant Aleksandra Pieprzycka from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

They stole alcohol and cigarettes

The men stole alcohol and cigarettes. They were fined 500 złoty.

– Lower Silesian police officers are constantly and intensively working in connection with the flood situation that has affected our province. Starting from securing places at risk of flooding, to helping in the evacuation of people and animals and securing property left by residents. The presence of officers from various services in places affected by the flood is aimed at preventing looting and criminal incidents – added the policewoman.
