During Friday morning sittings in Wrocław, the Minister of Infrastructure shared preliminary calculations of losses in southern Poland. Dariusz Klimczak said that the largest amount of money for rebuilding their infrastructure after the flood will most likely be needed Water Polish – about 1 billion zlotys.

According to Minister Klimczak, the losses affected both local and national infrastructure. Repairs to roads managed by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways are estimated at over 125 million zlotys. The railway infrastructure is to face even greater damages – losses in this area have been calculated at over 150 million zlotys. There will be money for carriers and subsidiaries on top of that.
The head of the Ministry of Infrastructure added that the initial cost estimates for the reconstruction of the reservoir in Stronie Śląskie amount to at least PLN 400 million, and the repair of the reservoir in Nysa to another PLN 180 million.

Importantly, by accepting the new position, Kierwiński is forced to resign from his mandate as an MEP. – He came and said he was available (…). Tomorrow in Wrocław he will get down to work – added Donald Tusk.
