– We will experience heavy rainfall, floods and inundations – these are the words that have been repeated many times in “Fakty” and TVN24. Scientists have also offered ready-made solutions. Unfortunately, no government in power in the last 30 years has taken these words seriously enough – she said.

Also nominated in the category were: Szymon Bujalski – climate journalist; Paulina Gorska – journalist and blogger; Dr. Magdalena Krukowska – journalist of Forbes magazine.

“Politicians don't listen enough, they don't act enough”

In an interview with TVN24, the journalist emphasized that most of her programs from the series “Talks About the End of the World” are “directed precisely at politicians, because our future, the future of our children, our grandchildren depend on them”. – In the programme we meet with politicians and young people, whose lives we talk about, but above all with scientists, experts, who have not always been given sufficient opportunity to speak – she said.

– They give clear, specific guidelines to politicians on how to fight the climate crisis. Politicians do not listen to them enough, do not act enough, do not introduce laws, do not change the law. And this is still something that should be fought for – she emphasized.
