It's shocking, the woman said on RTL. – I was told that I shouldn't touch it (the skull – ed.) and that I shouldn't lift it. Why don't I have a phone? Why do I have plastic bags? (…) Who are these people to make such accusations? – added the pensioner, who did not reveal her image in front of the cameras.

She emphasized that, above all, she wanted to determine the cause of Emile's death. – I hope we'll get an answer anyway. So that one day the parents, but also the people involved in this case, will find out who is to blame or whether it was an unfortunate accident, Sadia concluded.

Emile disappeared on July 8, 2023 from his grandparents' yard in Vernet in the department of Alpes de Haute Provence. As the mayor of the town, François Balique, explained in an interview with the French station BFMTV, the boy was playing in the garden when his grandparents were getting ready to go on a trip. At some point they realized that the child was not nearby. The services were immediately informed about his disappearance.
