The Safe Bus service has appeared in the mObywatel application. As the Ministry of Digital Affairs explains, thanks to it you can check key information about the vehicle before traveling, including: about a bus carrying children on a school trip. But not only that.

The Ministry of Digitization announced the launch of a new Safe Bus service in the mObywatel application.

It allows you to check important information about the bus

“Safe bus is a service that aims to improve passenger safety,” explains the Ministry of Digital Affairs. Its purpose is to quickly check the condition of the bus. After entering the registration number of the bus or coach in the application, we will find out whether the vehicle has up-to-date technical inspections, as well as how long its third-party liability insurance policy is valid.

The app may be particularly useful for parents whose children are traveling for a school trip.

“Golden autumn is a good time for school trips, it's also a good time to test the Safe Bus service!” – we read on the “mObywatel” account on the X portal.

How to use the function?

The Ministry said that in order to use the Safe Bus, you must log in to the mObywatel application and select the Services tab. Next, from the available options, select Safe Bus and enter the registration number of the vehicle you plan to travel with. After entering the vehicle registration number, information about the vehicle being checked will be made available. The service is free.

mObywatel is an application that, among others, includes digital ID card, driving license and other documents. Using it, you can reserve your PESEL number and submit various applications, such as for an energy voucher. The application also allows you to contact public administration, e.g. via ePUAP.
