In the latest episode of 'Kitchen Revolutions', Magda Gessler visited Karczma Kujawska in WÅ‚ocÅ‚awek, which has been operating for 30 years. The place was run by a married couple – Ewelina and Tomek, who live in London, so the management has so far been mainly done remotely.. The couple in the UK lead very different lives. Tomek runs a construction company there. The idea of ​​running a restaurant was Ewelina's dream, her husband decided to support her in it and repay her for the time when she gave up pursuing her passions and took care of the house. As he himself admitted, the involvement in running her own business was a great encouragement for her.

However, as it turns out, managing a company remotely does not work. Ewelina is there a maximum of four times a month, so she cannot constantly monitor what is happening in the restaurant. Fortunately, the woman can count on the support of her mother-in-law, who has several dozen years of experience in the catering industry. Ewelina's biggest problem was the lack of appropriate staff and the mounting costs of maintaining the premises. The place itself also left much to be desired. The place looked as if it had stopped in time. It could certainly be used to shoot films set in the times of the Polish People's Republic. During a visit to the restaurant, Magda Gessler appreciated the card that reminded her of her childhood. From the extensive menu she ordered, among others: black soup and was delighted with the taste of the dish prepared by the owner's mother-in-law. Golonka also defended herself. The restaurateur was very impressed with what was served on her plate. That's where the delights ended, because Magda Gessler immediately sent the minced cutlets back to the kitchen. She said that in this place, ordering a dish is like Russian roulette.

– said the host of the program. The owners have already invested over PLN 700,000 in the restaurant. PLN, and for now there's even room for yourself it didn't make any money. Ewelina wants everything to be done on-site, but it was very difficult for her to assemble a solid team. Magda Gessler emphasized that the place cannot function solely on the brilliant skills of her mother-in-law, because she is an older woman and cannot keep everything in check. The menu includes many dishes with duck meat, for which the place is now famous, such as: duck liver, duck thigh or duck breast. The prices of the dishes are affordable and the menu attractive, so the restaurant attracts customers. The best proof of the success of “Kitchen Revolutions” is the fact that the place still exists today. When Magda Gessler visited the restaurant again, she was not disappointed. New menu items proposed during “Kitchen Revolutions” turned out to be excellent in taste. The restaurateur couldn't praise it enough. – Delicious – Gessler emphasized.
