Start of the season NBA is fast approaching. Jeremy Sochan and his San Antonio Spurs will officially inaugurate it on Friday, October 25, when at 1:30 a.m. from Thursday to Friday (Polish time) they will face the Dallas Mavericks with Luka Doncic away. The Slovenian has been injured recently, but according to the latest reports from the American press, he will be ready for the start of the season.
Spurs are gearing up for the season. Sochan is in good shape
Which in turn concerns gamethis pre-season, Spurs are doing well in them. They have two defeats and two wins in their last four matches. Nevertheless, our representative performs very solidly. Against Miami Heat (117:120), he even recorded a double-double (18 points and 11 rebounds). He didn't play in the last match against Houston Rockets, just like most of the Spurs starting lineup (including Victor Wembanyama), but there was still a lot of talk about him afterwards.
Sochan watched the match from the perspective of a fan, but his outfit attracted attention. It was not a sweatshirt or other element of clothing of the San Antonio team, but an Arsenal T-shirt with the name of the legendary Dennis Bergkamp from 2006. Exactly the same as the one in which the “Gunners” played the last match in history at the famous Highbury Stadium before moving to Emirates Stage. It was on May 7, 2006 against Wigan (4-2 win after a hat-trick by Thierry Henry and a goal by Robert Pires).
Sochan loves Arsenal. Fans delighted
Our representative caused quite a stir among the fans of the London club, who were delighted with his outfit. “My favorite shirt, one last salute to Highbury!”, “This guy has a real sense of style”, “Playing for a club with the word Spurs in its name must be a bit painful” – these are just some of the comments. The latter, of course, refers to the nickname TottenhamArsenal's greatest enemy.
Jeremy Sochan has never hidden his sympathy for the Gunners. It is therefore possible that this weekend is not a good one for him, as Arsenal lost 0-2 to Bournemouth on Saturday, October 19. Jakub Kiwior made a serious mistake with goal no. 2who additionally received a “fishing rod” from Mikel Arteta.
