A 35-year-old man who, completely drunk, went for a walk around Lublin with his daughters had almost four per mille of alcohol in his body. When the four-year-old fell on her bicycle, he was unable to help her. Witnesses to the incident reported the matter to the police. The man will be charged with exposing his daughters to direct danger.
The details were provided by Superintendent Kamil Gołębiowski from the police headquarters in Lublin. On Monday afternoon, officers stopped at ul. Wyścigowa, a 35-year-old citizen Ukraine. The report showed that a completely drunk man was walking down the street with two girls.
“The 35-year-old was unable to stay on his feet. He had nearly four per mille of alcohol in his body. In this condition, he went for a walk with his two daughters, aged 10 and 4. At a pedestrian crossing, the younger of them fell on her bicycle. The man was unable to help her. Fortunately, witnesses responded,” said the superintendent. Gołębiowski.
The detained father is sobering up in a police cell. The girls were placed in their mother's care. For exposing an immediate threat to life or health, he faces up to five years in prison.
