A Russian drone hit a residential building in Kiev on Friday, said the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko. A fire broke out and spread to several apartments on the top floors.
The drone hit a building in one of the right-bank districts of Kiev, in the central-western part of the city.
“As a result of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Russian army on Kiev in the Solomysk region, a fire broke out in a multi-family residential building,” wrote Vitali Klitschko on social media.
He specified that the fire burned several apartments on the top floors of the skyscraper. For now, there is no information about any damage or injuries. The mayor announced that emergency services were on site.
