Dangerous incident in Rybnik (Silesian Voivodeship). A city bus ran off the road. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The driver was fined. Since yesterday, drivers in Silesia have been struggling with driving in difficult conditions, the streets are slippery due to snow and slush. Today the situation may worsen, as forecasters predict further rainfall and strong winds.
The incident took place on Thursday evening on the border of Rybnik and Leszczyny. The police were informed about a city bus that had run off the road. Conditions on the streets of Silesian cities were difficult at that time, it was snowing and slippery.

After arriving at the scene, the police confirmed the report. – The 49-year-old driver of the articulated bus did not adjust his speed to the road conditions and fell off. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The man was fined PLN 500, said staff aspirant BogusÅ‚awa Kobeszko from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Rybnik.
Difficulties at the scene of the incident lasted for several hours.
