Warsaw. All Saints' Day. How to get to the cemeteries? Streets closed to traffic

On All Saints' Day, several hundred additional buses and trams will be on the route. Access by car to some places will be impossible, the streets in the vicinity of the necropolis will be closed to traffic – informed the Warsaw City Hall.

On All Saints' Day, additional tram lines will be launched C1, C4 and C6 and buses C07, C09, C11, C12, C13, C14, C15, C20, C22, C27, C37, C40, C47, C50, C51, C56, C69, C70, C80, C81, C84, C88, C89 and C90.

According to the Municipal Roads Authority, in addition to special lines, access to cemeteries will also be possible by buses and trams of regular lines, which is why many of them will run more frequently and larger vehicles will be used to serve them.

There will be additional stops near cemeteries, and those “on request”, which are in the immediate vicinity of the necropolis, will become permanent on November 1. Buses will therefore stop there without the need for passengers to signal such a need.

Cemeteries: Bródnowski, Military and Powązki

The biggest traffic changes will be implemented on Friday, November 1. On this day, drivers will not drive through the streets around the Bródno Cemetery: St. Vincent, St. J. Odrowąż, P. Wysocki and Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Parking lots will be organized on the latter two. In turn, those going to the Military and PowÄ…zkowski cemeteries will not drive through PowÄ…zkowska and Okopowa streets in the vicinity of the necropolis. Here, the parking lot will be built on the road of Okopowa Street towards the Zgrupowania AK “RadosÅ‚aw” roundabout, between M. Anielewicza and Dzika.

In turn, those going to the Military and PowÄ…zkowski cemeteries will not drive through PowÄ…zkowska and Okopowa streets in the vicinity of the necropolis. North Cemetery

Visitors to the graves at the Northern Cemetery will not drive along WólczyÅ„ska Street from W. Reymont Avenue to K. Wóycicki. They should also remember that the intersection of Arkuszowa and Estrady streets is being rebuilt – Estrady street is closed on both sides of the intersection. You can reach the parking lot at the Main Gate of the cemetery via K. Wóycickiego Street from PuÅ‚kowa. To the parking lots at the Western and Southern gates – along Trenów Street.

Cemeteries in Rembertów and Marysin

In Rembertów, drivers will not drive through Grzybowa Street between Zygmunta III and Sosnowa. The tour will lead through the following streets: Zygmunta III, Dwa Mieczy, Działyńczyki, Płatnerska and Wspólna. In turn, in Marysin, Korkowa Street will be closed near the cemetery.

In addition, signs prohibiting stopping will be placed on the following streets: – Grzybowa from Gembarzewskiego Street to Zygmunta III, – Dokerów from Zygmunta III Street to Fizylierów, – Zygmunta III between Dokerów and Grzybowa streets, – DziaÅ‚yÅ„czyki between Dwa Miedzy and Grzybowa streets.

Cemetery in Tarchomin

Mehoffera Street will be closed, from Ordonówna Street to Myśliborska Street. Only residents will pass through here.

In addition, drivers will not park their cars on Mehoffera Streets, from Ceglana Street to Ordonówna Street, as well as Majolikowa, Pomorska and Milenijna Streets, from Mehoffera Street to Ćmielowska Street.

Cemeteries in WÅ‚ochy and Ursus

Only people commuting to the property will be able to drive along Ryżowa Street, from Kleszczowa Street to Aleja 4 Czerwca 1989. In turn, on Orłów Piastowskich Street, between Czerwona Droga and Królów Polskich, there will be a stopping ban.

Wola Cemetery and Warsaw Insurgents Cemetery

One-way traffic will apply on two streets: – on SowiÅ„skiego from Pustola towards Jan Olbrachta, – on Pustola from Antek Rozpylacza towards Redutowa.

You can go straight through Szulborska Street or turn right into Sowińskiego. Moreover, drivers will not enter Sowińskiego Street from Wolska Street to the cemetery. There will also be no left turn from Wolska into Fort Wola Street (only those arriving at the property will do so). Drivers will not park on Wolska Street between Hubalczyków and Sowińskiego streets.

Cemetery in Służewo and Czerniakowski Cemetery

Drivers will not leave their car on Wałbrzyska and Powsińska streets, along the cemeteries.
