Hansi Flick completely changed FC Barcelona and this performance was inspired. Not only does he regularly score points, but he also scores a lot of goals and breaks his bad streak. This was the case on Wednesday, when, after six defeats in a row against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, they finally defeated the Bavarians impressively, 4:1. The series of embarrassment was also interrupted on Saturday evening in the rivalry with Real Madrid. After four losses in a row against this rival, the victory finally came, and it was a special one, because at the Santiago Bernabeu. Although the hosts had more opportunities to score goals in the first half, the Catalans took almost complete control in the second half. And so they scored four goals, two of which were by Robert Lewandowski.
Hansi Flick reacted to Lewandowski's miss. No words needed. How did he miss it?
At the beginning of the match, the Pole was hardly visible, but in the second part he made his presence felt. He was the first to score and 180 seconds later he made it 2-0. He had no intention of stopping there. What's more, he had the opportunity to score not only a hat-trick, but also score four goals. Only he missed terribly on two occasions. And as it turns out, his mistakes were met with a rather eloquent reaction from Hansi Flick.
In the 67th minute, the striker received a perfect pass from Raphinha around the eleventh meter. He had an empty goal in front of him, but… he hit the post. Just a moment later he had a chance to beat Andriy Lunin again, but this time he moved the ball over the goal.
The above-mentioned Flick reacted to one of these almost 100% chances. A recording has already appeared on the Internet, showing how the German was clearly disappointed with the wasted opportunity. He shouted something out of helplessness, but that wasn't the end. After a while, he fell to his knees, then did a backflip and got up from the field. He then headed towards the substitutes' bench. The video has gone viral and is already taking over the internet.
Flick “scored a goal” together with Lewandowski
Flick approached this meeting very emotionally. The cameras recorded several times how he experienced almost every move of the Barcelona players. A recording of him scoring the second goal “together” with Lewandowski also appeared on the Internet. – Yeah [Flick, przyp. red.] I guess he would have to jump even higher… [żeby zdobyć gola, przyp. red.] – the Pole joked after seeing the video.
Thanks to two goals, Robert Lewandowski strengthened his position as the leader of the La Liga scorers' classification. He has already scored 14 goals. Second in this ranking is Ayoze Perez from Villarreal, but he scored half as many goals as the Pole – seven. Lewandowski's teammate Raphinha is third – six goals. Our compatriot will have another chance to score a goal on Sunday, November 3, when Barcelona will face Espanyol.
