Dominik R., the vicar of one of the parishes in Podkarpacie, will be charged with molesting minors, recording their nude images, possessing pornographic content involving a child and violating the minor's bodily integrity. The indictment in this case was sent to the District Court in Krosno.
As the spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Krosno, prosecutor Marta Kolendowska-Matejczuk, announced on Wednesday, the priest was charged with committing crimes against freedom and sexual freedom and morals to the detriment of five victims.
Two of them were under 15 years old at the time, three were over 16 years old.
Charges against the vicar
“The acts accused of the vicar included recording nude images of the victims, possessing pornographic content involving a minor, violating the minor's bodily integrity and causing the victims to undergo other sexual acts,” said prosecutor Kolendowska-Matejczuk.
She emphasized that the most serious crime charged against the accused is a crime punishable by imprisonment for a period of not less than three years.
He did not confess
The vicar did not admit to the acts he was accused of and refused to provide explanations and answer questions.
Due to the interests and secrecy of the investigation, the nature of the case and the interests mainly of the victims who wish to remain anonymous, the prosecutor's office will not disclose the details of the case.
The accused is in custody.
