The Russians once again launched a missile attack on Kharkov. A policeman was killed and 26 officers and four civilians were injured, reports the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform. “Police service on the Kharkov front involves risking one's life every day,” wrote the head of the Ukrainian police.
For the second day in a row, the Russians attacked Kharkov – the second largest Ukrainian city. On Friday afternoon, the Russians carried out a rocket attack in the place where the police were stationed. As reported in the press release, one of the officers was killed and 26 policemen and four civilians were injured – reports the press agency Ukraine Ukrinform.
“The deceased man is police colonel Andriy Matviyenko. I express my sincere condolences to the relatives of our colleague who lost his life while performing his duties. It was police service on the Kharkov front, which involves risking his life every day. I wish a speedy recovery to all the injured,” he wrote on Facebook, the head of the Ukrainian police, Ivan Vykhovsky.
According to preliminary findings, the attack was carried out using S-300 missiles.

On Thursday, a Russian bomb hit a multi-story house. Three people were killed and 36 people were injured. The recordings that appeared on social media show a huge hole in the facade of the nine-story building. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that this attack confirmed the need for more military assistance to Kiev from Ukraine's Western partners.
