Bisons cross the asphalt road in the morning. The herd's migration was captured on the Reporter24 recording by Mr. Antoni. – I like walking in the forest, and I am interested in bisons because they are a species that is almost extinct – he said.

Mr. Antoni, who from time to time sends recordings of bisons from Podlasie, contacted the editorial office of Kontakt24. The man likes to observe them. This time he managed to register a large herd crossing the asphalt road. The video was recorded on October 28 in the morning in Krynki.

– I registered them early in the morning, around 7, because it was sunrise. Our situation is that they walk around these fields, so if anyone is interested, they know where to look for them. The herd that was passing by may number a hundred or even more, he commented. – I like walking in the forest, and I am interested in bisons because they are a species that is almost extinct and those who are interested in it know that it is thanks to Poles that they are not extinct yet – he added.

European bison (Bos bonasus) is the largest land mammal in Europe. Both sexes have horns that grow throughout life. Bison use them to attack, hitting the enemy with the side of the head. These animals have lived in forests for centuries and are perfectly adapted to life in a forest environment.
