To win the United States presidential election, you have to win at least 270 votes from the Electoral College. Polls showed no clear favorite until the very end of the fight for the White House.

While voting, Donald Trump met with journalists and said that his staff was “doing very well” and the Republicans “showed strength.”
Published exit polls show that more women than men went to the polls. A study published by Reuters shows that 53 percent voters were women and 47 percent men. Four years ago, women constituted 52 percent. voters.
Importantly, exit polls are based on surveys completed in front of polling stations – These are not poll results – as such research is usually called in Poland.
Respondents assessed what was most important to them when voting. 35 percent answered that democracy, a 31 percent pointed to economic matters. For 14 percent the issue of abortion was important, and for 11 percent – migration crisis. Only 4 percent respondents chose foreign policy.
