This morning is not only foggy, but also frosty. The temperature dropped to negative values in most of Poland. It was the coldest in the east of the country, especially in the Masovian Voivodeship.
Cold, arctic air flows to Poland from the north of the continent. The weather is influenced by high pressure, which is why in many places the sky is cloudless, but the night clearing also favors significant temperature drops. Another frosty night is behind us. According to the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, the lowest temperature was recorded in Ostrołękawhere it was -5.6 degrees Celsius. In Kozienice, -5.5 degrees Celsius was recorded, and Siedlce thermometers showed five degrees of frost.
Frost continued in many parts of the country in the morning. At 6 a.m., -5.3 degrees Celsius was recorded in both Kozienice and Ostrołęka, the IMWM reported.
The temperature was even lower near the ground. On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, Łódź and Ostrołęka it dropped to -8 degrees Celsius.

Change at the end of the weekend
The weather situation will change in the second half of the week. – Slightly warmer air of polar and maritime origin will flow in from the north-west, as a result of which numerous clouds are forecast in the west and north and partly in the center of the country – says tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Damian Zdonek. With each passing day, there will be more cloudy and foggy regions, so the temperature will not drop as much.
