The court in Kutno (Łódź Voivodeship) arrested a 39-year-old man for two months for trying to break into a store and an ATM. The entire incident was recorded by a city surveillance camera. The recording shows the man hitting the shop window with an element of a bicycle rack. The 39-year-old is well known to the police.
The incident took place in the evening of November 3 in the center of Kutno. The police officer on duty received a report of an attempted theft and burglary in one of the stores. Everything was recorded by a city surveillance camera. The recording published on social media by the city of Kutno shows a man hitting the windows of a shop window with a metal object.

Well known to the police
Police officers rushed to the spot. The man was arrested a moment later on Sienkiewicza Street. – Surveillance cameras recorded how the man picked up the metal part of the bicycle rack from the ground and then started hitting the windows and store windows with it, trying to get inside. He was scared away and fled the scene. As it turned out, the 39-year-old also tried to commit a theft and burglary of one of the ATMs in Kutno on the same night – said junior aspirant Daria Olczyk.
The 39-year-old pleaded guilty during interrogation. – It turned out that the detained man committed these acts as a recidivist. The District Prosecutor's Office in Kutno submitted a request to the court to apply a preventive measure in the form of temporary arrest to the suspect. The court, after reviewing the collected material, agreed to the request and arrested the 39-year-old suspect for a period of two months, summed up the police spokeswoman in Kutno.
